Centro Studi Carlo Della Giacoma
The Centro Studi Carlo Della Giacoma is a cultural
association founded on 7 April 1998 in Todi (Umbria-Italy) and according to
paragraph 18 of its charter, "it has no political or religious goals and is a
non-profit organization".
The co-founders of the Association are: The Commune di
Todi, Provincia di Perugia and some important artists, professors and
researchers like Fulvio Creux, Mirella Del Bono, Maurizio Antonioli, Johann
Markus Engelhardt, Marco Gatti, Arturo Sacchetti, Carlo Segoloni, Filippo Maria
Stirati and Rita Zaffarami.

Goals of the Association:
- Study the creativity of musician Carlo Della Giacoma
- Publishing all research, articles, studies, essays,
biographies about the musician
- Search of all pieces of music and compositions in state
and prvate archives and libraries
- Publishing of all musicological and didactic essays
- Promotion of all concerts with the music by Della Giacoma
in Italy and abroad
- Organization of meetings and festivals about Della
Giacoma
- Publishing of CD and videos about works by Della Giacoma
- Organization of Master classes, courses and music
festivals where the music by Della Giacoma is studied and performed
- Publishing of all letters, articles and papers that
witness Della Giacoma's relationship to other artists of his time
- Promotion of the cultural activities that the Centro
Studi organizes
- Co-operation of the towns where Della Giacoma lived and
worked in all cultural activities of the Centro Studi, like Verona, Milan,
Livorno, Palermo, Trapani, Ancona, Mantova and Todi
- Collection of all books, letters, articles and pieces of
Music in an office where everybody can go and read and view them
